By executive order of Mississippi Governor, Tate Reeves, “All Mississippi school campuses will be closed until April 17, 2020, as a result of COVID-19 (Coronavirus).” Even with our school campuses closed, the Jackson County School District will continue to provide an “A-level” education for our students.
On Monday, March 23, 2020, we will communicate specific information regarding student learning.
In addition to providing curriculum content, the current breakfast and lunch program will continue for all children 18 years and younger. The general health and well-being of our students is our primary focus!
We, in the Jackson County School District, believe personal contact is vital. Therefore, our teachers will be in direct contact with their students and parents/guardians, as necessary. General information for our school community will be communicated through school call outs, district-wide email and website updates.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 10:30am-12:30pm
St. Martin High School bus lineup (side of school)
ALL children 18 and under will receive a breakfast and lunch for FREE. Children do not have to be a JCSD student. Children must be present to claim their meal. Adult meals are $3.
NO MEALS WILL BE SERVED DURING THE WEEK OF SPRING BREAK.
Below are many ways that you can help your child continue to learn more about the theme of self esteem, through reading about it, talking about it, and practicing it!
While your child is out of school, create a positive self talk mantra with him/her! For example, "I am important!" or "I can do this!" - write it on sticky notes or note cards and post it around the house.
Encourage your child to say the statements out loud daily!
