Nurture your child's talents

Experts report that the most talented young people often have one thing in common: Their families supported their talents. To encourage your child's development, expect your elementary schooler's best effort. Look for ways to make practice time enjoyable. Show your interest by learning your child's sport or skill, and by attending your student's games, recitals or other activities. And most of all, support your child, win or lose.
