Choose books that develop character

Your elementary schooler is learning about friendship, compassion, honesty, responsibility, courage and more. To reinforce the lessons, read books together which address these values. Some to try: Say Something by Peter H. Reynolds (ages 4-8). Built to Last, by Minh Lê (4-8). Full of Beans by Jennifer L. Holm (9-12).
