When you can't volunteer, perhaps relatives can
Working parents and caregivers don't always have the time during the day to volunteer at school. But students and the school benefit from volunteer efforts by any adult family members. Many schools welcome students’ grandparents and other family as volunteers. If your child doesn't have a grandparent available, perhaps aunts, uncles or godparents could get involved. Ask your child's teacher how these volunteers can help.
