Learning is the prize in a fun library scavenger hunt
Going on a scavenger hunt at the library is a fun way to help your child learn what resources are available and where to find certain kinds of information. Write down some facts for your child to find, then help identify where your elementary schooler could look. You might start with: The capital of each state in the U.S. The depth of the world's deepest lake. A list of Beethoven's symphonies. A recipe for chocolate chip cookies. Need help? Ask a librarian.
