    ***Reminder, every student that is traveling to New Orleans on Sunday to watch our boys take on Moss Point in the Smoothie King Arena must have their ticket and field trip permission slip signed by a parent before boarding the pep bus.

Buzz Around Campus

  • The Varsity girls basketball team lost last night to Davidson High School, 49-52. Valencia McFall led all scorers 21 points and 11 rebounds. Antonia Bryant had 14 points. Analya White also added 10 points in the loss. Erian Hampton came off the bench and grabbed 9 rebounds. The Lady Jackets will be in action next Tuesday at home against West Harrison.

    Prom Dues are currently $60. They must be paid prior to Christmas break in order to receive favors or invitations. See Mrs. Harkleroad in 311 for more information. The biggest turkey competition is well underway. Mrs. Markos, Colonel Ladner, and Mrs. Heise are the current leaders. Please bring in your change to support one our competitors and our St. Martin Angel Tree! The St. Martin Angel Tree will have angels up for adoption starting Monday. Clubs, classes, teachers, and alumni are encouraged to participate. All adoptions MUST be signed out through the front desk. Thank you for all of your support!

    Any student wishing to apply for 2019-20 membership to Mu Alpha Theta (math honor society) can pick up an application from Mrs. Kuehn in room 306. Former members must re-apply and qualify each year. Applications are due on or before Friday, Nov. 22nd.


    For anyone needing community service hours! Mrs. Banks is accepting students to sign up for the rescheduled Coastal Clean-up for November 16th. There is a sign up sheet on the door of room 215. Space is limited, sign up soon!

Clubs - Buzz

  • FBLA will be meeting, Saturday, November 16, at 10:00 am in front of Ocean Springs Yacht Club for Coastal Clean Up. If the time changes or if it is canceled for some reason there will be a message sent out via Remind. If you signed up please make sure you are there by 11:00 am and you either have a permission slip or you get a permission slip from me and get a parent to sign it before they leave.

  • We will hold tryouts for our Boys Powerlifting team from November 18th - 22nd. Tryouts and practices will be after school at the old varsity football field-house. They must have an updated physical to attend. Bring athletic shorts, tee shirt, and proper footwear.

    Tennis tryouts for the Spring 2020 Tennis Season are scheduled for next Tuesday 19th and Wednesday 20th at the tennis courts at 4:00. Please plan to attend if you would like to play for the 2020 Yellow Jacket Tennis Team.

    Track tryouts Nov 19th & Nov 20th after school. See Coach Smith Room 218.
