The Buzz

  • FUN FACT: The Great Pyramid at Giza is considered the first wonder of the world, according to the Travel Channel. It is the oldest of the Seven Ancient Wonders of the World, and it is the only structure from that list that is still in existence.

    FBLA will be collecting TEDDY BEARS between now and September 13th for the 10th Annual Teddy Bears on Patrol. All the BEARS collected will be donated to the Harrison County Sheriff's Office. The bear donations will benefit children that are in emergency situations such as house fires, vehicle accidents, etc. So be sure to turn in ONLY Teddy Bears they can be new or used or even the one that your ex-boyfriend gave you last Valentine’s Day!

    It’s that time again - time to celebrate (G.E.M.S) that is Girls Excited about Math & Science! The event will be held on Thursday, September 19, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at John C. Stennis Space Center. If you are interested and you are a girl and in grades 10th, 11th or 12th there is a sign up sheet outside of Mrs. Ford's room (506). There is a $5.00 cost to cover bus charges. The trip will include lunch!

Clubs - Buzz

  • St. Martin Gospel Choir is inviting new members to join in rehearsal on Thursday after school in the Choir Room.  Practice will end at 4:30. No experience is necessary! If you can talk, you can sing! Come on out and check out the St. Martin Gospel Choir, Meeting Thursday after school.

    FBLA will have its first meeting after school on the last Thursday of this month (August 29). If you would like to know more about FBLA please stop by Mrs. Ford's room 506 and sign up for the meeting so she will know how much pizza to order! The meeting will last until 5:00 pm.

  • Varsity had a huge victory over East Central Tuesday. They were lead in attacks and blocks by Celeste Study and Olivia Derbyshire. JV played a good match but fell short. JV was led by Maddie Anglada.

    JV pulled off an amazing victory over Vancleave on Thursday night. Sidney Gruich lead in attacks and Anna shoemaker was the defensive player of the match. Varsity fell short against Vancleave. the player of the match was Brett Brosh.
