Have you ever been inspired by a good book? Books can spark our imagination, take us to new places, change our way of thinking, make us laugh or cry, inspire us to try something new, and help us to gain abundant knowledge. What an awesome opportunity it is to be able to foster a love of books in young children! These precious little ones are each on a unique journey to find reading success. We are so glad you chose ECLE to help guide your child in making those first steps to becoming a lifelong reader!
Our mission in the library is to assist all students in becoming proficient users of information and technology. This will enable them to be proficient in critical thinking and problem solving. We also strive to help them learn to work cooperatively, and develop a spirit of care and concern for the needs of others. We want to design positive learning experiences that leave a lasting impact on the lives of these young learners.
One of the goals for each or our students is to reach the AR goal for his/her grade. Meeting this goal comes with a reward--Play Day at the Park!
Kindergarten (20 points)
1st Grade (35 points)
2nd Grade (50 points)
The AR reward trips will be scheduled during the month of April.
