  • The medical Program is a great way to introduce all aspects of healthcare to interested students. In this class we learn all about the human body- its anatomy and function, medical terminology, and diseases/disorders. We also learn many skills that healthcare professionals perform. As well as the career opportunities available and how to pursue the careers they envision for themselves. The knowledge learned is a great stepping stone and fundamental knowledge to help them in college. The class includes textbook learning, hands on skills in a lab setting, as well as clinical rotations to observe healthcare workers in action. If a student is interested in the healthcare field, they should consider the class. This class exposes them to the tasks or jobs they may be performing and helps to either concrete their determination to continue, or helps them to realize maybe they would be better served in another career path.
