"Linking Individuals iN Community Supports"

The LINCS program is designed to provide a community-based classroom in an age-appropriate environment for students with significant cognitive disabilites ages 19-21. The program is housed at MGCCC Jackson County Campus and allows special needs students to coexist with their peers, MGCCC students. The LINCS program provides students with instruction in the areas of Language, Mathematics, Science, and Career Development. Students in the program have opportunities for career exposure, job shadowing, work experience, and paid employment. Students admitted into the program will recieve a MGCCC identification card which allows them access to all college services on campus, including, the library, the learning lab, the gymnasium and intramural participation, the bookstore, the cafeteria, and the counseling center.
