Behavior Support
What They Do
Behavior support services are available to address the needs of students identified as having significant emotional and behavioral needs. Our ultimate goal is to facilitate the development of students' social and coping skills through positive behavioral supports and services designed to meet individual student's needs. The role of Positive Behavior Specialists is to provide assistance/support to administrators, staff members, teachers of students with disabilities (as well as those in the MTSS (TST) process), and students themselves who demonstrate chronic and/or significant behavioral-related concerns. Additional behavioral support may be provided by our school psychologists and a licensed professional counselor.
