- Social Security Card
- Current Driver’s License
- Bank card or letter from a bank
All prospective employees must be fingerprinted in accordance with Mississippi Code Annotate 37-9-17. The code applies to any prospective employee, aged 18 or older, and it includes full-time, part-time and student workers. The cost of fingerprinting is $40.00, which will be deducted from the first paycheck received by the employee. All fingerprints are taken, by appointment, at the District Office (4700 Colonel Vickrey Road, Vancleave).
All prospective substitutes, volunteers, paraprofessionals and student teachers/observers must also complete the fingerprint process. They will be required to bring a $40.00 check or money order.
Please follow the procedure below for prospective employees/volunteers:
- After applying in AppliTrack, have the applicant call the District Office at (228) 826-0170 to schedule an appointment for fingerprinting.
- Once the applicant has cleared, the school should complete a recommendation form and obtain all necessary signatures.
Student workers under the age of 18 are excluded from this requirement.
All prospective employees, volunteers, paraprofessionals, student workers and teachers/observers will submit to a drug screening. Paperwork will be given at the District Office at the time of the fingerprinting appointment. The initial cost of $25.00 will be paid by the prospective employee/volunteer at the time of testing.
Student workers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and must complete the drug testing.
